We're looking for a warm, professional waiter or waitress to join our front-of-house team. What You’ll Be Doing Welcome guests to your section, hand out menus and wine lists, and make sure everyone feels looked after from the moment they sit down. Know the menu inside out — including key ingredients and how dishes are prepared — so you can confidently answer questions and make recommendations. Set up and maintain tables — linen, cutlery, glassware — keeping everything neat and guest-ready throughout your shift. Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system and ensure they reach the kitchen and bar promptly and correctly. Clear used crockery and cutlery between courses, offer desserts and coffee, and upsell where appropriate. Process bills accurately and ensure the restaurant floor, fixtures, and your uniform are always clean and presentable. What We’re Looking For Grade 12 certificate. At least 3 years of experience as a waiter or waitress in a similar setting (5 years for a Senior Waiter position). Basic knowledge of wine and the surrounding wine regions. Hands‑on experience with a cash register and POS ordering system. Good communication skills and a natural ability to connect with guests. Patient, attentive, and comfortable working with a distinguished, high‑end clientele. Well‑presented, reliable, and flexible — with a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
