Senior Clinical Fellow (ST6+ or Post CCT) – Advanced Endoscopy (ERCP/EUS) Ref: CK Overview Applications are invited for the post of Senior Clinical Fellow in Advanced Endoscopy (ERCP/EUS) at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The position starts 5th August 2026 and ends 4th August 2027, lasting 12 months. Responsibilities The role is full‑time and will involve a mix of clinical duties, including: 3–4 specialist training lists, 3–4 service endoscopy lists, possibly one outpatient clinic, administration, continued professional development and research activities. There is no requirement for ward work or on‑call duties. Qualifications and Experience Senior trainees with JAG accreditation (or equivalent) in advanced endoscopy. CCST/CCT/CESR (CP) in Gastroenterology or an appropriate specialty is desirable; otherwise approval for OOPE will be required. At least one year of grade I ERCP training. Full registration with the GMC and possession of a licence to practise before starting the post. Note Post does not have educational approval from the Postgraduate Dean and will not be recognised for training.
