A well-established and growing logistics business is seeking a Key Accounts Controller to support the servicing and administration of key client accounts within a fast-paced operational environment. This role is best suited to an individual with hands-on experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution , who understands the importance of accuracy, responsiveness, and structured processes in delivering consistent customer service. Role Overview You will play a critical role in supporting the Business Development function by managing day-to-day client interactions, coordinating quote preparation, and maintaining accurate account records . This is a process-driven, operational support role , requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple client requests simultaneously. Key Responsibilities Manage inbound queries from existing key account clients relating to: Pricing and quotes Service availability Delivery and operational queries Assist with the preparation and tracking of client quotes using rate cards and approved pricing structures Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and CRM data Follow up on outstanding queries, quotes, and service-related matters Escalate non-standard requests or complex issues appropriately Minimum Requirements 3–5 years’ experience in a customer service, internal sales support, or account administration role within logistics, freight, warehousing, or distribution Proven experience working with: Pricing structures, quotes, or rate cards Operational or service-related customer queries (not sales campaigns) Strong administrative capability with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured and organised manner Professional communication skills, particularly in handling client queries calmly and efficiently Key Competencies Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy Reliable, consistent, and able to follow through on tasks Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment Able to work independently while supporting a broader commercial team Important Note This role is focused on existing client service, account support, and operational coordination .It is not a call-centre or outbound sales position .
