Responsibilities Operate conventional lathe or milling machine with or without digital readout. Machining accurately to drawing specifications. Turning internal and external threads, bearing sizes and press fits. Milling keyways, blocking accurately, and hole pitching on a dividing head. Work unsupervised, applying appropriate cutter selection and controlling feeds, speeds. Qualifications Proven experience operating conventional lathes and milling machines.
