Commercial Manager Ringway has been appointed to deliver the Kent County Council Highways Term Maintenance Contract – a long‑term, performance‑driven contract with an initial 14‑year term (plus extensions up to 21 years) and an annual value growing from £55m to £80–100m. This is a high‑profile, stable and career‑defining role for an ambitious commercial professional. As Commercial Manager, you will take overall commercial responsibility for the Kent contract, moving from a hands‑on commercial delivery role into a true leadership position. You will set the commercial strategy, embed best practice and play a key role in building long‑term client relationships. This role offers genuine progression and support for someone stepping up, with the chance to: Lead and shape the commercial function on a major long‑term contract Develop and mentor a growing commercial team Work closely with operations, supply chain and the client to drive value and performance Influence contract strategy, governance and commercial culture This is not a back‑office role – you’ll be visible, operational and commercially influential across sites, depots and offices.
