This is a hands-on management accounting position responsible for the full accounting function through to trial balance. The role works closely with multiple departments to support internal audits, reconciliations, and compliance, providing strong visibility into how the business operates across the organisation. The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying opportunities to improve financial systems and processes. Responsibilities Financial & Accounting Record day-to-day financial transactions through to trial balance Prepare and review monthly management accounts Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable Oversee payroll processing Ensure accuracy and completeness across the ERP system, Xero, and all financial documentation Process and reconcile export-related accounts and supporting documentation Compliance & Statutory Ensure compliance with SARS and statutory requirements, including PAYE, VAT, and COIDA submissions Conduct internal audits and financial reconciliations in line with business processes General Safeguard the reputation and interests of the company at all times Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and efficiencies within the finance function Take on additional responsibilities as operational needs evolve Key Skills Minimum 4 years' verifiable experience in management accounting Matric with Accounting and Mathematics Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance (advantageous) Proficiency in Xero accounting software and Google Sheets Strong working knowledge of ERP systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Experience in logistics, manufacturing, trading, or related industries (advantageous) Strong analytical and reconciliation skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage deadlines and work independently #J-18808-Ljbffr
