We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Lead with a strong background in payments systems, specifically Swift and cross-border payments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the automation testing efforts for our payment platforms, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and efficient software delivery. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing robust automation frameworks, mentoring junior testers, and collaborating with development and business teams to meet project objectives. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated test frameworks for payment applications. Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing of Swift and cross-border payment functionalities. Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues. Define and implement test strategies and best practices for automation testing within the payment's domain. Mentor and guide a team of automation testers, providing technical leadership and support. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Integrate automation tests into the CI/CD pipeline. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in test automation and payments systems. Report on test progress, defect status, and automation coverage to project stakeholders. Required Skills and Qualifications Proven experience as an Automation Test Lead or Senior Automation Engineer. Extensive experience in test automation, including designing and implementing automation frameworks. Strong understanding and hands‑on experience with payments systems, particularly Swift and cross‑border payment processing. Proficiency in one or more automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, UFT, Test Complete, Postman). Strong programming skills in languages commonly used for automation (e.g., Java, Python, C#). Experience with API testing and automation. Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and debugging skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively. Preferred Qualifications Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). Knowledge of financial messaging standards beyond Swift. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment. Certifications in software testing or automation.
