A reputable organisation within the environmental sector is looking to appoint a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Manager to support both financial and operational performance.This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership while gaining exposure across multiple business functions. The successful candidate will be hands-on, solutions-driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-evolving environment with strong intercompany dynamics.Key Responsibilities: Compile and analyse monthly management accounts Lead month-end close processes and ensure timely reporting Ensure full compliance with IFRS and internal policies Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations Monitor and manage cash flow and liquidity Build strong working relationships with auditors and support audit requirements Oversee debtors and creditors functions Maintain control of inventory and related financial processes Support operational cost management, including labour and overtime tracking Prepare annual budgets and forecasts Conduct margin and profitability analysis Manage and report on intergroup transactions Provide financial insights to the CFO and General Manager Experience: BCom Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar, with Honours Minimum 23 years relevant experience in a finance role Exposure to inter-company structures highly advantageous Skills: Strong grounding in financial reporting and compliance standards Excellent reconciliation and analytical capabilities Ability to work independently and take initiative Strong interpersonal and communication skills Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Personal Attributes: Meticulous with strong attention to detail Composed, professional, and solutions-focused Willing to go above and beyond when required Supportive and nurturing, with the ability to mentor junior staff Self-managed and proactive, with minimal oversight required Apply now!
