This role is responsible for overseeing all commercial, operational, and people-related functions within the assigned province(s), with a strong focus on profitable growth, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance.Reporting to senior leadership, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in defining provincial strategy, expanding market presence, and delivering an exceptional client experience through a capable and driven team.Key Responsibilities: Execute the provincial business strategy in alignment with overall organisational objectives Drive revenue growth and profitability through new business development, retention, and cross-selling Identify growth opportunities by analysing market trends, competitor activity, and emerging risks Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and external partners Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement Oversee talent management, including recruitment, onboarding, retention, and succession planning Manage budgets, control costs, and optimise operational efficiency Track financial, operational, and sales KPIs, implementing corrective actions where necessary Ensure compliance with regulatory, risk, governance, and market conduct requirements Oversee service delivery, including claims escalations and quality assurance Requirements: Degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field (required) FAIS accreditation (Short-Term Commercial Lines 1.6 Rep & KI) Minimum of 10 years experience in short-term insurance, including broking, sales, and portfolio management Regional Managerial experience (required). At least 5 years Commercial Broker Experience.
