Knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., VLANs, DNS, IP addressing). Proficiency in using monitoring and management tools for Azure and Hyper-V environments. Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory) Experience 1 to 3 years of experience in IT support or a related field (internships or hands-on lab experience in Azure or Hyper-V are acceptable). Team-oriented mindset with a customer-centric approach. Key Responsibilities Monitor and maintain Hyper-V and Azure virtual machines (VMs) to ensure optimal performance and availability. Assist in provisioning, configuring, and deploying VMs and virtual networks in Azure and Hyper-V environments. Perform basic troubleshooting of virtual environments and escalate complex issues as required. 2. System Monitoring and Reporting Monitor system health, resource utilization, and performance metrics using Azure Monitor, Hyper-V tools, and other monitoring platforms. Generate routine performance and status reports. Identify potential issues and recommend optimizations. 3. Incident and Problem Management Respond to Level 1 incidents and service requests related to Azure and Hyper-V environments. Document incidents and resolutions accurately in the service management system. Collaborate with Level 2/3 teams to resolve complex issues. 4. Backup and Recovery Assist in configuring and managing backups for VMs and critical data using Azure Backup and Hyper-V tools. Support recovery operations in disaster recovery scenarios under supervision. 5. System Updates and Maintenance Apply patches, updates, and upgrades to Hyper-V hosts and Azure resources as per established schedules and guidelines. Participate in routine maintenance activities to ensure system reliability. 6. Documentation and Training Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation for processes and configurations.
