Our Client in Claremont, Cape Town (insurance industry), has a permanent role available for a Quality Assessor. The successful candidate will have to live in Cape Town, preferably the Southern Suburbs (not still have to relocate). About the role We’re looking for a sharp, solution-oriented Quality Assessor to join our Cape Town team as a critical guardian of the brand. In this hybrid role, you aren’t just checking boxes; you are the strategic line of defense ensuring our digital insurance products remain seamless, compliant, and robust. As a key gatekeeper of the customer journey, you’ll take proactive ownership of the full QA lifecycle, identifying technical risks before they escape, and ensuring every interaction meets our high standards. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a hawk-eye for detail, you’ll play an active role in maintaining the integrity of a platform that protects thousands of South Africans. What you’ll be doing You’ll serve as a critical gatekeeper for the Client’s brand integrity by auditing call quality across sales and admin streams. This involves verifying policy data across multiple systems, identifying regulatory risks, and providing direct coaching to agents to ensure a seamless customer journey. Key responsibilities include, but not limited to: Assess calls across all streams (Sales, Admin, Vetting) for quality, accuracy, and compliance Validate customer and policy information across multiple systems Complete scorecards, update spreadsheets, and send detailed feedback Provide feedback, coach agents, and assist with corrections. Review and approve sales, identify risks, and ensure regulatory compliance. Report non-compliance, errors, or risks to relevant stakeholders. What we’re looking for Experience and qualifications Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Quality Assurance role RE5 (Regulatory Examination) is a non-negotiable requirement for this position Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality work with a sharp focus on detail Experience thriving within fast-paced environments and adapting to multiple concurrent projects Assessing and tech skills Strong computer literacy, specifically in MS Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills to deliver clear, actionable feedback Skilled in verifying complex customer and policy data across various digital systems Exceptional time management skills to handle the full QA lifecycle Work style Committed, Accountable, Innovative and Genuine Highly proactive and professional, taking full ownership of problem-solving Highly organized and exhibits professional rigor Collaborative in a dynamic team environment.
