Position: Construction Project Manager Salary Range: R25,000 – R35,000 per month (negotiable based on experience) Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Construction Manager to oversee and manage their site operations in both petrochemical and general construction projects. Key Responsibilities Lead daily site construction operations, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and permit‑to‑work processes. Independently prepare Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and comprehensive HSE documentation. Effectively manage and coordinate supervisors, team leaders, and subcontractors to achieve project goals. Compile and submit detailed daily progress reports, maintaining accurate and current project documentation. Interpret and apply engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project plans with precision. Strategically plan, schedule, and track construction milestones to ensure timely project completion. Collaborate closely with engineering, HSE, and project management teams to swiftly resolve on‑site technical challenges and delays. Oversee procurement, control, and management of site materials, tools, and equipment efficiently. Lead and participate in site meetings with engineers, clients, and key project stakeholders to maintain clear communication and alignment. Demonstrate a solid understanding of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), including accurate quantity verification and ongoing tracking. Minimum Requirements At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in construction or site management roles. Possession of a valid Code 8 driver’s licence. Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities. Proven capability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
