Contribute to & Execute HR Strategy Support the execution of the business plan through the implementation of people strategies that attract, develop, and retain employees. Assist in driving HR initiatives aligned to operational and organisational goals. HR Business Partnering Drive the effective execution of local HR initiatives. Coach and support line managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Coordinate workforce planning activities and provide recommendations to management. Support organisational development and change management initiatives. Ensure people-related considerations are incorporated into business planning and operational activities. Promote a positive and high-performance workplace culture through employee engagement and leadership support. Build and maintain strong working relationships with employees, management, and employee representatives. Provide guidance on employee relations matters, grievances, disciplinary processes, and labour-related concerns. Culture Management Foster an inclusive, positive, and high-performing organisational culture. Support employee engagement initiatives and action plans. Monitor employee satisfaction and assist in addressing concerns proactively. Assist in implementing talent management and employee experience initiatives. Talent Acquisition & Management Support recruitment activities including sourcing, screening, interviewing, onboarding, and induction processes. Coordinate recruitment administration and ensure compliance with recruitment procedures. Conduct reference and background checks. Assist with succession planning and talent pipeline development. Ensure accurate onboarding documentation and process compliance. Ensure salary and wage compliance in line with legislation and company policies. Employee Relations Investigate and resolve grievances and whistleblower complaints. Support line managers with performance management processes. Prepare disciplinary documentation and assist with hearings and CCMA matters where required. Guide managers on misconduct, incapacity, and performance-related issues. Support fair and consistent employee relations practices across the business. HR Reporting Track HR movements and maintain accurate HR records. Compile HR reports, scorecards, and analytics to support decision‑making. Analyse HR data and provide insights to management. Project Management Participate in HR‑related projects including system implementations, policy updates, and organisational initiatives. Monitor project timelines, risks, and deliverables. Prepare and present KPI and HR‑related reports. Assist with organisational development processes, including job descriptions and job grading coordination. Compliance Coordinate Employment Equity tracking, reporting, and submissions. Coordinate Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR) submissions. Ensure HR policies and procedures remain compliant with labour legislation and organisational requirements.
