Role Overview Octotel is seeking a driven CSR Coordinator to lead and support impactful initiatives within schools and underserved communities. This role combines relationship management, event coordination, and strategic outreach to strengthen Octotel’s social impact and brand presence. Key Responsibilities Community Outreach & Research Identify and assess new geographical areas aligned with Octotel’s expansion strategy and community impact goals. Research, evaluate, and engage potential partner schools and NGOs with strong community relevance and brand alignment. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date stakeholder database, including schools, NGOs, and key community contacts. Track, analyse, and report on school partnerships, outreach progress, campaign performance, and engagement metrics for CSR reporting. Relationship Management & Engagement Support the planning and execution of CSR initiatives, with a focus on school programmes and key CSI campaigns. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver impactful, community‑driven projects. Manage the onboarding of partner schools, ensuring all agreements, documentation, and compliance requirements are met. Monitor and evaluate programme effectiveness, identifying opportunities for improvement, scalability, and innovation. CSR Programme Coordination & Delivery Support the planning and execution of CSR initiatives, with a focus on school programmes and key CSI campaigns. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver impactful, community‑driven projects. Manage the onboarding of partner schools, ensuring all agreements, documentation, and compliance requirements are met. Monitor and evaluate programme effectiveness, identifying opportunities for improvement, scalability, and innovation. Marketing & Brand Visibility Collaborate with the Marketing and Media teams to develop PR briefs and ensure effective media coverage for CSI initiatives and campaigns. Coordinate CSR activations at school and community events (e.g. open days, fundraisers, and sports events). Drive awareness of Octotel’s CSR initiatives across communities and partner networks. Identify and implement creative opportunities to enhance brand visibility within communities. Requirements Grade 12 (Matric) with a relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or similar). Proven experience in CSR/CSI, community engagement, public relations, or stakeholder outreach roles. Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse communities. Strategic and creative thinker with a genuine passion for social impact and community development. Excellent organisational and administrative abilities, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Confident public speaker, capable of representing the brand professionally at CSI, community, and stakeholder events. Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly within and outside of Cape Town. Flexible and available to attend occasional after‑hours or weekend events, if required to do so.
