Control and Instrumentation Engineer A multi-discipline engineering and construction company based in Secunda is currently looking for a Control and Instrumentation Engineer. Responsibilities Knowledge of PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems, industrial protocols, and communication networks. Solid understanding of control theory, instrumentation principles, and process automation. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Knowledge of Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI). Knowledge of Functional Safety. Knowledge of Intrinsic Safety. Knowledge of AutoCAD (beneficial). Proficient in MS Office. Knowledge of Instrument Procurement & Inspection (beneficial). Knowledge of Honeywell DCS and ESD systems & interfacing with Honeywell. Valid Drivers Licence (Code B/EB) and the ability to drive vehicles with a manual transmission. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work under pressure. Desired Experience & Qualification BEng/BSc in Electronic Engineering or related field. Previous work experience in Basic, Detailed design (Datasheets, Loop drawings, Cable schedules/Block Diagram, RAT List, C&E & Narratives) or construction projects for the Oil and Gas sector. 5+ years’ experience in Control and Instrumentation.
