We have a vacancy for an HR Generalist with a vehicle dealership in Johannesburg. Duties and responsibilities Lead and manage the HR Operations team to ensure optimal performance. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for HR Operations. Oversee recruitment and on boarding processes aligned with EE targets. Validate and ensure correct system entries on Sage 300 (new hires, positions, approvers). Guide line managers on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters. Monitor and support all disciplinary, grievance, retrenchment, and transfer processes Collaborate with Learning & Development to ensure proper employee induction. Maintain compliance with RMA injury-on-duty processes and reporting. Review and update HR policies regularly to ensure legal and practical relevance. Represent the company at DRC/CCMA hearings and liaise with MIBCO and unions. Analyse HR trends and provide insights to the HR Executive for strategic planning. Prepare and submit monthly HR reports (EE, IR, new hires, ethics declarations, etc.). Oversee HR Operations budget and ensure expenditures remain within limits. Support labour inspections and audits (Department of Labour, MIBCO). Maintain and update company organograms and HR databases. Requirements Degree in Human Resources Management or Industrial Psychology. Postgraduate Diploma or Honours Degree is an added advantage. Minimum of 5 years' HR Generalist or HRBP experience. At least 4 years' experience in an HR managerial role. Hands-on experience using Sage 300 (Essential). In-depth knowledge of South African Labour Legislation. Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills. High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
