The Business The company provides email, SMS, and digital marketing automation solutions to thousands of B2B clients across South Africa. The product is established, the client base is strong, and the growth ambition is significant. They are now transitioning to a marketing-led, product-led growth model and need a senior leader to own that strategy at Exco level.What We Are Looking For You have done everything this role requires. You may not be doing all of it hands-on today and that is fine. What matters is that you have built inbound growth engines before, understand the full marketing stack deeply, and have the commercial credibility to own this at board level.The non-negotiables: 10 or more years of B2B SaaS growth, product marketing, or GTM leadership experience Proven experience building and owning an inbound growth engine with measurable commercial outcomes Deep understanding of product-led growth and freemium or trial-based conversion mechanics Full stack marketing capability across demand generation, lifecycle automation, product marketing, and analytics Strong analytical mindset with a structured approach to experimentation and performance optimisation Experience leading and building small, high-performance marketing teams Comfortable owning revenue conversations at executive level not just marketing metrics The Honest Part This is a builder role. Two direct reports are in place from day one, but there is no large team to delegate to immediately and no established playbook to follow.
