The Role: Maintenance Supervisor This role exists to ensure the smooth, safe, and reliable running of all building facilities and production equipment, with a strong focus on detergent filling lines and related machinery. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day maintenance activities, diagnosing faults, executing repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance routines. The position plays a critical role in minimising downtime and supporting uninterrupted production in a high-volume environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute daily maintenance activities across all equipment, facilities, and utilities Respond quickly to machinery breakdowns to reduce downtime Maintain, service, and optimise detergent filling machinery and other production equipment Conduct routine inspections and implement preventative maintenance schedules Manage maintenance logs, checklists, shutdown planning, and SHEQ compliance records Supervise junior maintenance staff and coordinate external contractors Manage and monitor critical spares inventory Support production teams with technical troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency About You 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance role Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background Hands-on experience with filling or packing machinery (detergent, chemical, FMCG, or similar) Proven fault-finding ability across mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems Experience supervising maintenance teams or technicians Solid knowledge of preventative maintenance systems and safety regulations Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive, on-the-floor approach Able to work under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment Organised, communicative, and safety-conscious with high attention to detail #J-18808-Ljbffr
