We do this by applying our minds to ASIC, PCB Hardware, Firmware, Product/Mechanical, Electrical, IOT and Software Systems Design. The Role As DevOps Engineer, you will join our multidisciplinary PowerSense Design and Development team with a strong focus on developing our IoT product range ( & You will own and design cloud infrastructure and services using the latest technologies, forming a key part of the integration and maintenance of our technology stack while assisting the team in expanding our offerings. The successful applicant will be involved in IoT product development and backend systems, with a strong focus on deploying and maintaining services, supporting automated testing, and building dashboards. This role combines cloud infrastructure ownership, CI/CD automation, and proactive monitoring with a clear emphasis on security and compliance, ensuring that our technology stack remains scalable, efficient, and secure throughout the product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Cloud & Container Management : Maintain and deploy cloud and containerized environments, optimizing for efficiency and cost. CI/CD Automation : Design, manage, and improve continuous integration and deployment pipelines. Infrastructure Security : Embed security checks into pipelines, enforce compliance frameworks, and manage vulnerability scanning. Monitoring & Observability : Implement monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and design dashboards to ensure system health and reliability. Incident Response : Troubleshoot production issues, resolve outages, and implement preventive measures. Lifecycle Support : Provide support to products and services through their full lifecycle, including updates and releases. Collaboration : Work closely with developers, QA, and operations to streamline delivery and maintain a strong team culture. Requirements Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills. Practical knowledge Linux , scripting (Bash/Python/Node.js) and containerization. Experience with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI/DC pipelines). Database administration and design skills (preferably PostgreSQL and Timescale) Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Akamai, Hetzner, GCP). UI and UIX experience advantageous. 3-5 years DevOps experience. Relevant certifications (AWS DevOps Engineer or similar) preferred. Working knowledge of QMS. Ability to communicate effectively. General PC skills Soft Skills Self-starter, analytical mindset with a focus on reliability and security. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines.
