Purpose of the Role: To manage product distribution across stores by analyzing sales trends, inventory levels, and seasonal demand, ensuring product availability in the right quantities at the right locations. Key Responsibilities Optimize sales by ensuring stores are stocked with the right products at the right time. Monitor store stock levels, highlighting under/overstocked stores with action plans. Prepare and action weekly post allocations and replenishments. Manage new item allocations based on grading templates and historical performance. Consolidate stock in line with SOPs and report to key stakeholders. Anticipate and plan for weekly deliveries in line with DC schedules. Prepare store grading reports every 3 months and present findings to the Planner. Support stores with recalls, consolidations, and stock transfer queries. Maintain key allocation parameters, grids, and store lists. Collaborate closely with Merchandising, Buying, and Planning teams to align allocation strategies with business goals. Conduct ad hoc analysis and provide insights to stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications & Experience 3–5 years’ retail allocation experience (apparel/footwear/accessories preferred). Matric required; tertiary qualification advantageous. Proficient in Excel and inventory management systems (experience in retail analytics software a plus). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, pressurized environment. Key Competencies Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
