A global organisation with a broad operational footprint is seeking a Commercial Accountant to join their finance division. The role forms part of a high-paced environment that manages complex financial activities across multiple regions. You will support financial reporting, month-end close, audit processes, controls, and continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders across various business units.Key Responsibilities: Manage month-end close processes in line with accounting standards Prepare detailed monthly financial reports and variance analyses Review and reconcile internal management reporting Support internal teams with financial queries and period-end requirements Coordinate internal and external audit activities Strengthen financial controls and improve reporting processes Investigate and resolve reconciliation issues through process improvements Prepare financial analysis and reports for decision-making Assist with automation initiatives to streamline accounting processes Review journal entries and ensure accurate system processing Contribute to best-practice initiatives across the finance function Job Experience and Skills Required: Qualified CA(SA) 2-4 years post-articles experience Strong technical accounting expertise ERP experience (SAP advantageous but not essential) Advanced Excel skills Highly organised, adaptable and detail-focused Strong communication skills and the ability to manage expectations effectively Proactive approach with strong problem-solving capability Apply now!
