Our client, a well-established organisation operating within the manufacturing industry, is seeking to employ an experienced Finance Clerk to join their team based in Johannesburg. This is a hybrid role that may require work in Pretoria. Requirements Matric Knowledge in the area of financial statement preparation, budgeting, payroll, purchasing, accounts payable and accounts receivable or the equivalent Experience working with an automated financial management system Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Finance Good knowledge of Excel Accounts payable and receivable An understanding of relevant financial legislation policies and procedures Responsibilities (include but are not limited to) Processing bills, transactions, and credits Verifying account information and bills, and resolving any discrepancies or errors Keeping organized records Maintains customer’s financial information Maintains vendors’ financial information and files Assists in posting journal entries into the accounting software Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
