Role Description Onfon Mobile South Africa is seeking a hands‑on HR Manager to lead and manage the full Human Resources function. The role focuses on recruitment, employee relations, labour law compliance, performance management, HR administration, policy implementation, training, reporting, and employee engagement. The successful candidate will build structured HR processes and ensure compliance with South African employment legislation. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes. Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, SOPs, and documentation. Implement and monitor performance management and KPI systems. Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, and workplace conduct issues. Ensure compliance with South African labour laws and HR regulations. Manage HR records, contracts, employee files, and reporting. Support payroll administration and employee benefits processes. Coordinate training, skills development, and employee engagement initiatives. Prepare HR metrics, dashboards, and monthly management reports. Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performance workplace culture. Minimum Qualifications Degree in Human Resource Management, Labour Relations, Industrial Psychology, Business Management, or related field. SABPP registration (or eligibility) is advantageous. 4 years of HR Generalist experience. Minimum 2–3 years in an independent HR management or senior HR role. Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management. Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation (BCEA, LRA, POPIA, COIDA, OHSA, EEA). Experience with HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office.
