Job Overview A 4-star Game Lodge in the Pilanesburg Area is recruiting an energetic and enthusiastic field guide/maintenance assistant. The Lodge is family-owned and offers a dynamic, hands‑on working environment requiring flexibility, determination, and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities Lead client nature experiences, including guided walks, nature drives, and hiking/MTB trails. Support land management under the farm manager. Maintain guest activity equipment, trails, and locations. Assist with general maintenance, front‑of‑house operations, and guest services. Qualifications & Skills Valid driver’s license and PDP requirement. Minimum of two years guiding experience. Good general bush knowledge of the Lowveld area (minimum FGASA Level1 or equivalent). Specialty knowledge of birds and trees a bonus. Hosting experience and service orientation. General maintenance skills and experience. Land management experience, including invasive species removal. First Aid certification. Good references from previous employers. Fluent in English; Afrikaans/other South African language helpful but not required. Own vehicle; South African residency.
