Job Description Our client is seeking an experienced Business Transformation Consultant - Finance to support strategic and financial transformation initiatives within a dynamic project environment. The successful candidate will advise on both strategic and tactical business transformation, with a strong focus on optimizing financial performance, improving planning capabilities, and driving sustainable business change. This role requires a seasoned finance professional with a Chartered Accountant background, strong SAP experience, and the ability to partner with stakeholders to identify performance gaps, recommend improvements, and implement finance transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Advising stakeholders on strategic and tactical business transformation initiatives with a finance-led focus. Assessing current financial and operational performance and identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Supporting refinement of existing business strategies or development of new transformation strategies aligned to market and competitive demands. Providing insights and recommendations to support sustainable financial and operational improvements. Leading and supporting various planning and forecasting processes, including: Strategic planning P&L planning Balance sheet planning Cash flow forecasting Long-range forecasting Rolling forecasts Financial modelling Capital planning HR planning Project planning Production and capacity planning Sales and operational planning Identifying performance gaps across finance and business processes; developing and delivering transformation recommendations; supporting implementation of process improvements, transformation initiatives, and change interventions; ensuring initiatives align with overall business strategy and operational goals. Engaging with business leaders, finance teams, and project stakeholders to understand requirements and priorities; presenting recommendations, findings, and strategic insights; collaborating across functions to support project execution and adoption of new processes. Leveraging SAP and other finance-related systems to support planning, reporting and transformation activities; contributing to the enhancement of financial systems, reporting structures, and planning methodologies. Requirements Chartered Accountant (CA) background. Strong finance transformation or consulting experience. Solid SAP experience. 8-10 years’ relevant experience in finance, business transformation, strategic planning, or consulting. Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis, forecasting methodologies, financial modelling, business performance improvement, transformation strategy and implementation. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability; ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders; strong business acumen and commercial awareness; excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment; strong organizational and delivery capability. Qualifications: Chartered Accountant qualification essential; relevant finance, accounting or business qualification required.
