Your role and responsibilities This is a unique opportunity to work on groundbreaking technology solutions, develop scalable software systems, and collaborate with leading research scientists and engineers in fields such as generative AI, quantum machine learning, and cloud-based workflows. As a Research Intern, you will have the opportunity to help develop foundation models, agentic workflows, quantum-ML algorithms, and approaches that impact fundamental sciences and application areas alike. You will work on industry research projects, take part in research meetings and discussions, contribute to internal and open-source code repositories, and contribute to commercial products and outputs such as research papers and patents. Required education Master's Degree Preferred education Doctorate Degree Required technical and professional expertise Currently enrolled in an M.Sc, or Ph.D degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Quantum Computing, or related technical fields. Proficient in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and experience in any additional programming languages such as Java, C/C++, etc. Excellent understanding of machine learning algorithms and experience in implementing them Experience building, training and evaluating vision transformers Knowledge of optimization approaches Experience in the fields of climate science or remote sensing is considered an advantage Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Good communication and collaboration skills. Preferred technical and professional experience Experience publishing and presenting research in technical communities (e.g., Neurips, CVPR, ICML, ICLR, IJCAI, AAAI, KDD, IEEE QCE). Good understanding of Quantum computing Experience in MLOps.
