They’re looking for a Commercial Finance Team Lead to drive financial performance across payments, merchant services, and digital finance, working directly with senior leaders and C‑suite stakeholders. Role Overview Lead and develop a team of Finance Business Partners, ensuring alignment between operational drivers, business strategy, and financial performance. Provide strategic commercial insights and enable effective financial decision‑making across business portfolios. Key Responsibilities People Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Finance Business Partners Manage performance, set objectives, and support development Maintain strong communication and workflow frameworks Support recruitment and talent capability growth Operational Oversight Oversee finance partnering delivery across allocated business areas Ensure adherence to best‑practice processes and governance Drive continuous improvement and process optimisation Resolve escalations and maintain strong stakeholder relationships Delivery & Business Alignment Scope and prioritise finance partnering work for the team Coordinate cross‑functionally to support strategic financial management Quality‑assure deliverables and support capacity planning Ensure alignment with business needs and performance objectives Technical & Functional Expertise Apply advanced finance partnering capability where needed Provide commercial insight, financial analysis, and decision support Support strategic planning across payments and merchant portfolios Experience Required 5+ years in financial accounting or finance business partnering; 2+ years leading or managing finance professionals; strong stakeholder engagement experience; proven delivery in a high‑performance, continuously improving environment.
