Role Overview We are offering a full‑time Senior Architect position, based primarily in our Cape Town studio. While future hybrid flexibility may evolve, this is fundamentally an in‑studio leadership role. You'll work closely with the principal, taking responsibility for key projects, contributing to strategic decisions, and helping shape the next era of the studio. This role is ideal for someone with design leadership experience who is looking for a more meaningful chapter in their career. Key Responsibilities Lead projects through all phases from concept to close‑out Direct and coordinate consultants, technical teams, and contractors Deliver detailed documentation and technical resolution with precision Present work to clients and authorities with confidence and clarity Engage in studio development, team building, and strategic planning Help position the practice in the market and pursue new opportunities Required Experience & Skills Minimum 8+ years of post‑qualification experience Professionally registered (PrArch) or eligible for registration in South Africa Proficiency in ArchiCAD or willingness to adopt it fully as the primary BIM tool Strong design sensibility with technical competence and site experience Familiarity with Cape Town planning processes and local construction context Excellent written, spoken, and interpersonal communication skills Proven ability to lead projects independently with initiative and ownership Personal Attributes Ambitious but grounded — able to see both detail and direction Entrepreneurial spirit with a long‑term mindset Resilient, reliable, and committed to design excellence Collaborative, communicative, and open to leadership growth Willing to co‑author the future of a practice, not just follow instructions #J-18808-Ljbffr
