Duties & Responsibilities Manage employees effectively and according to values Excellent and professional customer service Attention to accuracy and correctness (expiry dates, stock rotation, quantities of different products) Manage de-briefing according to company procedures and protocol. Management and control of stock counts - ensure accurate reporting of stock Cleanliness of premises - Outside, loading area and returns Cleanliness of cold room, products in rows and grouping of products Escalation of errors/damage on system with evidence Management of FIFO in cold room to avoid stock losses. Daily checking and recording of products' dates Management of damaged stock to avoid losses. Verify at least ten trucks during your shift. Ensure correct orders are on the correct route Ensure that route cargo is in correct "bay". Investigate stock losses to limit theft, report errors and damaged stock to the Manager Management of CHEP pallets according to set rules and procedures Ensure all freezers are in working conditions and reporting of faulty freezers Management of storage staff (Discipline, leave) Assign tasks to Night Shift staff and ensuring efficiency Maintain personal folder for each Driver and Assistant Communication with personnel office regarding personnel administration and management Management of attendance, clock-in system Handling appointments and contracts Handling of safety clothing Desired Experience & Qualification Proven experience in warehouse, logistics, or fleet management (preferably supervisory/management level) Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse systems Valid driver’s license Ability to work night shifts - 16h00 - 02h00 Grade 12 Additional qualifications will be advantageous Package & Remuneration R gross #J-18808-Ljbffr
