Key Responsibilities Implement and enhance DevSecOps practices Perform proactive threat hunting and vulnerability identification Administer and manage Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory Oversee endpoint security using Microsoft Intune Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and potential threats Lead and support security incident response and management Deliver security awareness training across the organization Collaborate with third-party vendors on security solutions Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures Requirements Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field Solid understanding of networking, systems, and security protocols Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) is an advantage Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently and respond to urgent issues after hours Advantageous Certifications Fortinet (FortiGate) and/or Cisco certifications CEH, OSCP, CISSP, ISO 27001 or equivalent advanced certifications Reference Number for this position is GZ61104 which is a permanent position based in Johannesburg offering a cost to company salary of R1.3m pa negotiable on experience and ability.
