Base Salary Range: US$1,200 to 1,400 per month base plus variable compensation up to US$2,200 OTE. The final offer will depend on interview results, skills, and experience. About the Company: A U.S. software provider offering specialized digital tools for land surveyors and related sectors such as construction and real estate. The platform supports field teams with mapping, measurement, and project data management, helping users streamline surveying tasks, improve accuracy, and make informed decisions across active job sites. About the Role: The Sales Development Representative will conduct high‑volume cold calls to generate qualified leads and schedule product demos for land surveyors across multiple U.S. states. The SDR works closely with the Sales Manager and Founder, follows provided call scripts and objection‑handling guidelines, and shadows calls during onboarding to learn the product and common questions. The primary focus is to increase the number of booked demos each month and maintain consistent performance reporting. Key Responsibilities Conduct 150 to 200 outbound cold calls per day to land surveyor prospects. Use provided scripts and objection‑handling materials during calls. Book 10 to 30 qualified demos per month with accurate scheduling. Collaborate with the Sales Manager to align messaging and calling strategy. Track KPIs, activities, and weekly performance reports as directed. Participate in onboarding through one to two weeks of call shadowing. Maintain accurate notes, call logs, and demo confirmations. Hard Skills Required Previous experience in cold calling, SDR, telemarketing, or outbound inside sales. Comfortable handling objections and scheduling appointments with decision makers. Proven track record of hitting high activity targets and meeting performance goals. Strong English communication skills with a neutral or South African accent suited for U.S. conservative demographics. Familiarity with CRM tools and basic performance reporting. Soft Skills Required Clear and confident phone communication. Strong resilience and thick skin needed for volume calling. Ability to learn quickly through shadowing and coaching. Attention to detail when logging leads or scheduling demos. Reliable and consistent follow‑through in remote work settings. Nice to Have Experience speaking to U.S. based trades, construction, or real estate audiences. Prior work with land surveyor, engineering, or field service clients. Basic understanding of outbound sales metrics and demo conversion cycles. Application Requirement : Candidates must provide a short overview of past outbound sales performance or activity targets achieved in prior roles. Success Metrics Number of qualified demos booked per month. Cold call to demo conversion rate. Accuracy of demo scheduling and notes logged in the CRM.
