Objective: The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of basic electronics and mechanical systems, ensuring equipment operates efficiently and downtime is minimized. Key Responsibilities Install, commission, and calibrate laboratory equipment at client sites Perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on mechanical and electronic components Provide technical support and training to customers on equipment usage Maintain accurate service records and reports Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards Manage spare parts inventory and tools effectively Travel to client sites as required Minimum Requirements Diploma or Certificate in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field 25 years experience in servicing technical or laboratory equipment Basic knowledge of electronic circuits, fault finding, and mechanical systems Ability to read technical manuals and schematics Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Valid drivers license and willingness to travel Advantageous Experience with laboratory, medical, or scientific equipment Exposure to calibration and validation processes Customer-facing/service experience Key Competencies Attention to detail Strong communication skills Customer service orientation Ability to work independently and under pressure Good organisational and reporting skills
