The opportunity As a Direct Entry Captain, you will command Embraer operations with a strong focus on safety, leadership, and service. You’ll fly medium jet aircraft within a professional, standards-driven environment while mentoring crew and upholding operational excellence. Minimum requirements Total time: Minimum 5,000 hours Medium aircraft time: Minimum 2,000 hours on medium aircraft Jet PIC: Minimum 500 hours PIC on jet aircraft (must include at least 500 hours PIC on medium jet aircraft) License: Valid, unrestricted ATPL – SACAA accepted Medical: Current Class 1 Language: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher Education: Grade 12 certificate or equivalent (minimum) Type rating: Not required – training provided Work authorization: Ability to live and work in the country of operation (no visa sponsorship) What you’ll fly & training Operate across various Embraer aircraft within the fleet. If you are NTR, a comprehensive type conversion and recurrent training program will be provided to ensure a smooth and confident transition to line operations.
