The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and analyzing data to generate insights that support informed decision-making across the organisation. This role plays a critical part in transforming raw data into meaningful information by identifying trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive business performance and strategic initiatives.##### Minimum Qualifications / Experience* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Information Technology, Actuarial Science, Data Science, or Engineering* A minimum of 10 years’ professional experience in analytical or data-driven roles* Proven experience performing analytical work within a strong analytical environment or department* Demonstrated business critical-thinking and creative problem-solving abilities* Experience in building data models using tools such as Qlik and Power BI* Valid Drivers Licence* The candidate must be medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act##### Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):* Providing actionable recommendations based on analysis* Assisting business teams in making data-driven decisions* Working with stakeholders to understand business needs and tailor analyses to address specific challenges* Partnering with IT, database administrators, and data engineers for data access and infrastructure needs* Using statistical and analytical methods to uncover trends, patterns, and relationships within the data* Performing exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand the data better* Creating dashboards, charts, and reports to present findings in a clear and visually appealing way* Using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Qlik* Design and implement data models to support analytics and reporting requirements* Develop and maintain data dictionaries and metadata for structured understanding of datasets* Optimize data structures for performance and scalability across systems* Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and technical specifications* Perform gap analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation* Prepare and present business cases supported by data-driven evidence for decision-making##### Please send the following documents to apply:Please upload the following documents in one file with the application form to the right.
