Manufacture, assemble, repair and maintain mechanical components and systems with high precision for the machines to operate efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Perform Schedule/Preventative maintenance tasks to minimize plant down-time Do improvements, new installations and modifications to plant & equipment Respond to equipment breakdowns Ensure safe operation of plant & equipment Perform general housekeeping tasks Must be prepared to work overtime and standby as and when required Must be in possession of valid driving licence Must be able to work at heights or in confined spaces Must be able to read and interpret drawings Proven planning & fault-finding ability Must be able to obtain a certificate of fitness Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Requirements Completed Grade 12 / Matric with Mathematics and Physical Science or Technical N3 Trade test certificate in fitting and turning (red seal) Must be able to read and interpret drawings #J-18808-Ljbffr
