Role Purpose We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Senior Credit Controller to join our global finance team. This role goes beyond traditional cash collection, playing a key part in supporting revenue generation by enabling the sales teams to successfully navigate procurement requirements to win new business and retain current customers. The successful candidate will combine strong credit control expertise with a collaborative, solutions‑focused approach, helping to optimise cash flow while removing administrative barriers in the sales process. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of global clients, ensuring timely collection of outstanding receivables Proactively chase overdue debts while maintaining strong client relationships Monitor credit risk and recommend appropriate payment terms Investigate and resolve billing queries in collaboration with internal stakeholders Produce and review aged debt reports, highlighting risks and proposing actions Support month‑end processes, including reporting and reconciliations Manage relationships with third‑party collection agency Schedule regular review meetings with team and internal stakeholders Work with Credit Control Team to ensure appropriate internal/external support is maintained Review and reconcile credit balances, bad debt schedules and third‑party case management Meet monthly targets set to trigger bonus incentive and reduce debtor days to acceptable industry average Work on ad‑hoc tasks as required Assist in navigating procurement processes, ensuring all requirements are met efficiently and in a timely manner Manage and maintain client procurement platforms (e.g. Ariba, Coupa, Tungsten) Coordinate the provision of documentation required for tenders and renewals Partner with global finance colleagues to maintain and establish internal process requirements and controls Participate and support audit requests and requirements Partner closely with sales teams to support deal closure and revenue generation Obtain and maintain up‑to‑date tax certificates, legal and notarised documentation, and compliance records (e.g. VAT certificates, W‑8 forms) Respond to client requests for financial and regulatory information in a timely manner Ensure internal records and systems are accurate and audit‑ready Identify and elevate process issues and opportunities to improve credit control processes and enhance efficiency Support the standardisation of procurement and compliance activities across regions Support team members and share best practices when required Contribute to finance transformation and automation initiatives Requirements Proven experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role in a global organisation At least 3–5 years of demonstrable experience in a global multi‑currency organisation Experience dealing with multiple currencies and understanding how exchange‑rate gains/losses are recognised as a result of timing differences Strong understanding of credit risk, collections processes, and cash‑flow management Experience supporting sales teams or involvement in commercial processes is highly desirable Familiarity with procurement platforms (e.g. Ariba, Coupa) Knowledge of global litigation, tax documentation, withholding tax, tax treaties and compliance requirements in an international environment Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate Strong communicator with excellent written skills and equally adept at speaking on the telephone Highly organised with strong attention to detail Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems; experience in Salesforce, Zuora and D365 is an advantage Personal Attributes Commercially aware and business‑oriented Strong communicator with a customer‑focused approach Resilient and confident in managing challenging conversations Able to balance competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment Benefits Hybrid working model (2 days per week in office) Exposure to international, high‑impact projects Work for a highly global organisation Flexible working hours Work from anywhere in the world for up to 3 weeks per year Competitive salary plus monthly bonuses (individual and team) Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Euromonitor International does not discriminate in employment on the basis of race, colour, religion, sex, national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, disability and genetic information, age, membership in an employee organization, or other non‑merit factor. #J-18808-Ljbffr
