Senior Network Engineer We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer with deep expertise in Cisco DNA Center, Cisco ISE, SD-Access, and enterprise routing & switching to join our growing Network Engineering team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working on next‑gen campus networks, zero‑trust access, and automation‑driven network operations. Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage Cisco DNA Center for automation, assurance, and network orchestration Implement and support Cisco ISE for NAC, 802.1X, Profiling, Posture, and Guest Access Work with SD-Access fabrics , segmentation (SGTs), and policy‑based access Manage enterprise routing & switching environments (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, QoS, etc.) Support firewall integration (Cisco FTD, ASA, Fortinet preferred) Perform network monitoring, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis using DNAC, SolarWinds, LiveAction, or Cisco Prime Collaborate with security, cloud, and infrastructure teams for cross‑functional projects Drive network automation using Python, Ansible , or similar tools Qualifications & Experience 5–10+ years of enterprise network engineering experience Strong hands‑on expertise with:Cisco Routing & Switching (Catalyst 9K preferred) SD-Access architecture & operations Experience in LAN/WAN , VPN, and campus network deployments Working knowledge of Cisco firewalls (FTD/ASA) Familiarity with Python/Ansible is a big plus Cisco certifications (CCNP Enterprise / Security) strongly preferred Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment Type Contract Job Function Consulting, Engineering, and Information Technology Industries IT Services and IT Consulting, Engineering Services, and Computer and Network Security Location Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa Salary ZAR50,000.00 – ZAR57,000.00 Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at MatchPoint by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
