Warehouse Assistant, Stellenbosch We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate stock handling, efficient order preparation, and safe, well-organised warehouse operations. Minimum Requirements Valid South African driver's license (Code B) National Senior Certificate / Matric Computer literate Minimum 1-year relevant warehouse or logistics experience Forklift license will be an advantage Key Responsibilities Receive, offload, and verify incoming stock against delivery notes and invoices Inspect stock for damage and report any discrepancies or quality issues Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch to customers and technicians Maintain accurate stock levels and participate in regular stock counts Rotate stock according to FIFO (First In, First Out) principles Monitor expiry dates and report short-dated, expired, or slow-moving stock Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and order in all warehouse and storage areas Assist with deliveries and collections according to the daily schedule Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the company vehicle at all times Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects or maintenance requirements Assist with ad-hoc warehouse and operational duties as required Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and report any hazards or incidents Required Skills & Attributes Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good problem-solving skills Reliable, punctual, and well-organised Effective time management skills Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team Ability to work independently when required #J-18808-Ljbffr
