A well-established company in the building & home improvement manufacturing sector is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Junior Cost Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow their career within a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist with product costing, bill of materials, and cost variance analysis Prepare and maintain accurate cost reports Support month-end processes (recons & journals) Analyze actual vs. budgeted costs and report on variances Liaise with customers regarding pricing and orders Collaborate with cross-functional management teams Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and inventory control Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies Minimum Requirements: BCom in Accounting / Management Accounting (or similar) 1–3 years’ experience in a cost or management accounting role Manufacturing experience (advantageous) Proficiency in Sage accounting software Strong Microsoft Excel skills (intermediate to advanced) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently and within a team What’s in it for you?
