Design of tooling and components. Parts are designed, manufactured, and assembled locally. Some parts are manufactured in the USA.Mechanical Design engineer required with solid skills in 3D and a basic understanding of materials/ material selection.Qualifications and experience required: BEng or MEng Mechanical Engineering 3D design skills Skills in design for manufacturing and assembly Basic skills in fatigue, material interaction, and impact testing of mechanical components Collect, analyse, and interpret mechanical data to relevant standards Responsibilities Interpret specifications, codes, standards, and regulatory requirements. 3D design Generating component and assembly drawings for prototyping Basic Engineering design analysis Design for manufacture Design for assembly Work with the manufacturing team to ensure that products that were designed are correctly manufactured (ensure correct usage of tools in injection moulding , die-casting, sheet metal for the various components or products that were designed and manufactured correctly) Modelling and design of components.
