The purpose of this position This mid-level, office-based position will engage with key role players in planning stages of construction. Reports to: Business Development Manager. Key responsibilities Understand the market we serve and the value of our offering. Identify viable projects to pursue. Be the first line point of contact for enquiries by professionals like architects and engineers. Engage with these enquiries in an efficient and professional manner. Establish if enquiries requires a visit by a company representative. Make extensive use of the company CRM system to keep track of projects and enquiries. “In simple language, this position needs to be a ‘detective’ with a strong desire to understand projects, link them to the right people and establish the real needs.” Minimum requirements Qualifications & experience The ideal candidate would have a marketing qualification. Experience in the use of a CRM system. Experience in a professional sales or marketing environment. Proficient in MS Office. Other Experience level: Mid level Education: Diploma Own transport required: Yes Travel requirement: Occasional Behavioural competencies Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
