Responsibilities Duties include academic services in the project named above. Research associates may also pursue further academic qualifications outside of their work responsibilities. They may also pursue doctoral studies outside of working duties. The position is part of the project “Low-level clouds” of the cluster of excellence “Climate, Climatic Change and Society II”, which aims to better constrain the response and climate impact of stratocumulus clouds. This position will focus on small‑scale cloud‑turbulence interaction and its adjustment to global warming. The work includes theoretical analysis and direct numerical simulations. Profile A university degree in a relevant field. Qualifications The project‑specific qualifications include fluid mechanics, turbulence, numerical methods and programming. Experience in an international and interdisciplinary environment would be beneficial.
