An appropriate 3‑year National Diploma/B‑degree (equivalent or higher qualification) in Financial Management and Supply Chain Management policy development; a minimum of 1 year of related Supply Chain Management experience. A valid driving license (Code B or higher). Key Performance Areas Compilation of moveable asset management notes for interim financial statements (IFS) and annual financial statements (AFS) in terms of the modified cash standards, generally recognised accounting practice (GRAP); Supervise and render fleet management administration and auxiliary support services to the Department; Provide an effective and efficient asset management system and asset register; Processing of requisitions for the placing of orders; management and supervision of human resource staff; Maintain and ensure an effective consumable management service for the department. Knowledge, Skills & Competencies Knowledge of Public Sector policies and regulations (Public Financial Management Act 1999, Public Service Act, Prescripts, National and Provincial Treasury Supply Chain Management instructions, National Treasury Regulations, etc.); Knowledge of public sector procurement processes, rules and regulations; and frameworks governing Supply Chain Management. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, work under pressure, work in a team and be prepared to work overtime when required. Skills: Written and verbal communication; planning and organisational; management and leadership. Remuneration R 413 001 – R 468 501 per annum (Salary level 8) Note: additional service benefits such as medical assistance, housing assistance, pension‑fund contributions, etc. are funded or co‑funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements.
