Overview: An opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical finance professional to take ownership of financial reporting, cost control, and operational finance within a manufacturing business unit. This role supports strategic decision-making and ensures strong financial governance across the plant. Requirements: Grade 12 BCom / Diploma in Financial Accounting (or related) Minimum 2 years’ experience in a finance/accounting role Strong Excel and MS Office skills Experience with ERP systems (advantageous) Staff management (advantageous) Key Responsibilities: Provide financial analysis and support to operational teams and management Manage general ledger, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations Prepare and analyse weekly/monthly financial reports and variance reports Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes Monitor cash flow, working capital, and daily cash positions Manage CAPEX processes, fixed assets, and tooling registers Conduct cost and product costing analysis, including variance investigations (PPV) Oversee creditors, debtors, and stock control processes Ensure compliance with tax, statutory returns (VAT, PAYE, UIF, etc.), and internal controls Support audits (internal & external) and year-end processes Drive continuous improvement initiatives within finance and operations Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving ability High attention to detail and accuracy Good understanding of financial controls and reporting Ability to work cross-functionally with operations and management Strong communication and interpersonal skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
