We are seeking a skilled and experienced Drill Rig Technician / Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, fault-finding, and repair of drilling rigs and related equipment to ensure maximum operational efficiency and minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on drilling rigs and associated equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults. Conduct breakdown repairs both in the workshop and on‑site. Complete service reports, maintenance records, and job cards accurately. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements. Assist in equipment commissioning and decommissioning. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and orderly condition. Work closely with operations teams to minimize equipment downtime. Provide technical support and recommendations for equipment improvements. Minimum 2–5 years' experience maintaining and repairing drill rigs, mining, construction, or earthmoving equipment. Strong knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Valid driver's licence. Willingness to travel and work overtime when required. Good problem‑solving and diagnostic skills. Ability to work independently and under pressure. Advantageous Experience working on drill rigs. Experience in mining environments. Strong attention to detail. Excellent troubleshooting abilities. Good communication and reporting skills. High level of reliability and accountability.
