Duties: Hotel Operations: Support the General Manager in the day-to-day operation of the hotelAssist in overseeing Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Safaris, Maintenance,Spa and Guest ServicesEnsure effective communication and coordination between departmentsDrive operational standards and service consistency throughout the propertyMonitor guest satisfaction and implement continuous improvement initiativesAct as Manager on Duty as required Guest Experience: Champion exceptional guest experiences across all touchpointsEnsure guest feedback is monitored and acted uponLead service recovery where requiredIdentify opportunities to enhance the guest journey and strengthen the propertys reputationPromote a culture of hospitality, accountability and attention to detail Leadership & Team Development: Support and mentor departmental managers and supervisorsAssist with staff development, training and performance managementFoster a positive and collaborative working environmentLead by example and uphold the values Safaris, Sustainability & Community: Oversee the hotels safari and experiences offeringSupport the management of safari vehicles, boats and related assetsBuild relationships with local reserves, conservation organisations and tourism partnersAssist with Fair Trade Tourism initiatives and sustainability programmesSupport community projects undertaken through the Charitable Foundation Requirements: Previous management experience within a quality 4 /5* hotel, lodge or hospitality operationStrong operational and people leadership skillsStrong understanding of guest experience, service standards and hotel operationsExcellent organisational and communication abilitiesDemonstrated experience leading multiple operational departments within a hospitalitybusinessValid drivers licenceWarm and guest focused personalityCalm and professional under pressureHands on and operationally mindedStrong relationship building and stakeholder management skillsPassionate about hospitality, responsible tourism and community engagementStrong attention to detailSelf-motivated, proactive and solutions drivenCommercially aware while maintaining a guest first mindset Compensation Guidance: Base Salary: Target range: R25,000 R30,000 per monthExceptional candidates may be considered above this range Benefits: Housing, lights and water7% company contribution to Momentum Provident Fund which is compulsory.
