Job PurposeTo manage supplier replenishment, stockcoordination, and distribution centre scheduling to ensure optimal stockavailability, improved service levels, and efficient supply chain operationsbetween suppliers, distribution centres, and stores. The primary focus of SRAsis improving customer service levels while optimizing inventory. Therole focuses on improving customer service levels, maintaining correctinventory levels, coordinating deliveries, and supporting promotional andoperational requirements. Key Responsibilities Replenishment Management Review order proposals and identifyanomalies. Place orders and stock transferrequests where required. Ensure orders are placed on correctorder days and delivery dates. Maintain correct safety stock andreplenishment parameters. Monitor key value items and ensureservice levels are maintained. Ensure all active articles havestock or orders in process. Escalate stock shortages and supplyissues. Analyse reports to maintain servicelevels and stock accuracy. Manage buy-ins, new listings, anddiscontinued items. Stock Coordination & DC Scheduling Coordinate pickup and deliveryschedules through the distribution centre. Manage sales orders and supplierdeliveries. Monitor stock on hand and ensureoptimal stock levels. Follow up on short deliveries andarrange re-orders. Manage returns, recalls, and damagedstock. Ensure stock availability forpromotional activities. Liaise with suppliers, stores,warehouse, and sales teams. Conduct stock counts where required. Promotions & Demand Planning Adjust orders for promotions andincreased demand. Ensure sufficient stock forpromotional displays. Monitor promotional performance andstock levels. Communicate stock risks tomanagement and stores. Plan stock around month-end /year-end cycles. Master Data & System Accuracy Ensure article master data iscorrect. Maintain correct order days anddelivery schedules. Update replenishment parameters whenrequired. Ensure correct distributionprofiles. Log system incidents when required. Logistics & Delivery Management Resolve delivery issues withsuppliers or DC. Track urgent orders and follow up. Communicate delays to stores. Monitor fill rates and servicelevels. Ensure correct stock flow betweensupplier, DC, and store. Inventory Control Monitor stock cover and servicelevels. Identify aged, short-dated, orexcess stock. Ensure corrective actions are taken. Manage negative stock reports. Monitor daily out-of-stock reports. Ensure stock rotation in DC. Teamwork & Self-Management Plan and prioritise workload. Meet deadlines and productivitytargets. Communicate risks and issues early. Support business values andpolicies. Work collaboratively with internaland external stakeholders. KPIs Service level performance. Stock availability. Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required for the Job Qualifications and ExperienceMatric. Diploma / Degree in Logistics / SupplyChain / Business / Merchandising. Minimum 3 years’ experience in FMCG /Logistics / Supply Chain / DC. Skills and CompetenciesKnowledge & Skills Supply chain/ replenishment principles. Inventory management. SAP / ERP systems.
