General Manager: Platforms, DevOps & Engineering Fintech is entering a new phase where operational and commercial excellence has become critical for success. The General Manager: Platforms, DevOps & Engineering is responsible for leading and overseeing the DevOps and Software Engineering vertical and portfolio. Accountable for design, development, delivery & maintenance of business‑critical applications across Group Finco to meet current and future enterprise software and application needs. Measures of success include CAPEX/OPEX efficiencies, maintaining internal SLA’s and quality improvements from an internal service perspective, and in terms of products and services measures of success include the product/service portfolio, innovation & time-to-market. Responsibilities Provide input into the Technology strategy in line with the overarching business goals, ensuring that Group Finco maintains and improves its leadership positioning Define the overall Platforms, DevOps & Engineering strategy and business planning for the team Ensure the effective execution of the strategy by providing direction, structure, frameworks, models, plans and roadmaps, aligned to Group strategy and frameworks, implementing to OpCos Drive the effective cascading of the overall Platforms, DevOps & Engineering business plan Execute the Platforms, DevOps & Engineering strategy by driving customer awareness, engagement, experience, and monetization Provide input into the Platforms, DevOps & Engineering Business Plan, and cascade this to OpCos Drive product revenue and growth, operational excellence and customer satisfaction Qualifications Relevant experience in leading large multinational software engineering organizations with proven track record delivering business critical applications. Relevant certifications in DevOps and Software Engineering Senior management track record of 12 years or more; with at least 5 years within FinTech Relevant experience in managing Fintech Platforms 4‑year Business Science/Information Technology/Information Communications Technology/Engineering (or related) Degree Master’s in business administration/ relevant master’s degree is advantageous Additional Benefits Experience in a Fintech working environment is advantageous.
