1.RESPONSIBILITY OF JOB The incumbent is mainly responsible for onsite maintenance of a fuel management system on site.2.MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS (KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS) The core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:â–ªPerform fault diagnostics and error analysisâ–ªInstall and commissioning productsâ–ªRepair, remove, inspection and servicing of productsâ–ªEnsure that the equipment is in good working order and conditionâ–ªEnsure that the equipment is maintained and repaired/installed in accordance with the OEM requirements and specificationsâ–ªCompile a schedule for preventative maintenance on the fixed fuel management system, which will be distributed to all relevant Customer partiesâ–ªAssist with mini projects running in maintenanceâ–ªSupport and assist the Database Specialist with investigations and solutions as necessaryPerform administrative tasks such as keeping records of all new installed equipment, maintaining vehicle logbooks, maintaining technician onsite reports (TOS) up to date, ensuring that job cards are completed timeously, correctly and handed in for invoicingâ–ªKeep track of stock and perform regular stock countsâ–ªAssist customer with technical advice on productsâ–ªBe responsible to inform the Customer representative of any equipment that have become obsolete or are beyond economical repairâ–ªSupport the Marketing effort of products to customersâ–ªAct as Site Manager.â–ªComply with all the Customers rules and regulations and policies such health, safety, quality and environment and will adhere to all safe working proceduresâ–ªEnsure that all medical fitness and induction documents as required by the Customer, including the Contractors Pack are up to date as well as making the necessary appointments and arrangements when it comes up for renewalâ–ªReport daily to the appointed Customer representative before commencing his/her daily work responsibilitiesâ–ªWill be required to attend weekly/monthly safety meetings as required by the mineâ–ªBe required to work standby from time to timeNOTE: The above points do not constitute the incumbents sole job function; the incumbent should use these points as a guideline.
