Responsibilities: Develop and maintain maintenance schedules, considering production needs and equipment reliability. Create work orders and job plans, ensuring all necessary information is included.Prioritize maintenance tasks based on criticality and impact on production.Coordinate maintenance activities with production and other departments to minimize disruption. Ensure availability of necessary parts, tools, and personnel for maintenance tasks.Manage inventory levels of spare parts and tools.Estimate labour and material costs for maintenance projects.Serve as a liaison between maintenance and other departments.Communicate maintenance schedules and changes to relevant personnel. Collaborate with maintenance staff, contractors, and external vendors.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment history.Utilise Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to manage maintenance data.Generate reports and analyse maintenance data to identify areas for improvement.Respond to unplanned maintenance requests and emergencies.Troubleshoot issues and develop solutions to prevent future problems.Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and procedures.Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.Stay up to date with industry best practices and technologies.Requirements: Millwright Trade or related qualification in Engineering or Facilities Management.Proven experience in maintenance scheduling or planning, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Strong understanding of preventive maintenance principles and practicesProficiency in maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS).Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
